For this experience in Chania, we’ve carefully designed a 9-day itinerary that goes beyond the postcard views. We explored every aspect of the region — its geography, history, cuisine, traditions, and people — to craft a journey that truly reflects Crete’s soul. From the rugged mountains of Imbros to the pink sands of Elafonisi, and from Minoan palaces to family-run farms, this trip brings together Crete’s most meaningful moments in a small, welcoming group.

Chania Group Trip | September 24 – October 2, 2025
Day 1 – Arrival in Chania
Welcome dinner with live music at the Venetian Port.
Day 2 – Chania Old Town & Folklore Workshop
Morning walking tour.
Afternoon: private Cretan dance, music & costume experience.
Day 3 – Balos & Gramvousa by Boat
Sail to turquoise lagoons and enjoy dinner in Falassarna.
Day 4 – Beer Tasting & Cooking Class
Visit a local brewery, then cook and dine at a Cretan farm.
Day 5 – Imbros Gorge & South Crete
Hike through the gorge and relax at Frangokastello beach.
Day 6 – Knossos & Heraklion Museum
Day trip to explore Minoan history and Crete’s top archaeological site.
Day 7 – Apokoronas Village Tour
Meet producers, taste local cheese, wine, olive oil and see how the famous “tsikoudia” is produce.
Day 8 – Elafonisi Beach & Monastery
Swim in crystal waters and visit a historic hilltop monastery.

A $400 deposit per person is required to reserve your spot.
The deposit is non-refundable but transferable to another person or to a future Greece Unplugged trip.

Cancellation Terms:
- Before July 24, 2025: Full refund of any payments made except the deposit
- Between July 24 – August 24, 2025: 50% refund of the full amount paid (excluding deposit)
- After August 24, 2025: No refunds available
- You may transfer your spot to another participant at any time with no penalty
